BOWEN, Judge.

The defendant was found guilty in Birmingham Municipal Court of the offenses of resisting arrest and riot. Appeal was taken on both counts to the Circuit Court of Jefferson County. The jury returned a verdict of guilty on both counts and the defendant was fined $500.00 on the resisting arrest charge and sentenced to perform hard labor for sixty (60) days on the riot charge. Because the defendant failed to pay the fine of $500.00, additional punishment...
