On May 29, 1979, defendant-appellant John Brown was indicted for a violation of R.C. 2923.12, carrying concealed weapons. The crime charged is a felony. A suggestion that the defendant was not competent to stand trial was filed July 16, 1979. Thereafter on August 27, 1979 the court found that defendant was not then competent for trial but there was a substantial probability of his competency within one year if given treatment.
