Baldwin was indicted in November, 1978, for violations of G.L.c. 266, §§ 27A, 60, and 139; c. 90D, § 32; and c. 274, § 7, on numerous counts alleging offenses in Acton from 1976 to 1978 in connection with stolen motor vehicles.
