The marriage between the plaintiff, Karen K. Venuti, and the defendant, Joseph E. Venuti, Jr., was dissolved on the ground of irretrievable breakdown. The defendant claims that the trial court abused its discretion in awarding alimony and counsel fees to an adulterous spouse and in awarding to the plaintiff alimony, counsel fees, and a share of the parties' assets which are disproportionate to the respective finances of the parties.
