Following a jury trial, defendant Larry J. Hemminger was found guilty of robbery in the first degree in violation of sections 711.1 and 711.2, The Code 1979. Having been convicted of a forcible felony, § 702.11, The Code 1979, his sentence included a mandatory minimum term of five years imprisonment. See § 902.7, The Code 1979.
