SMITH, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

We shall here hold that the term "transcript of the proceedings" appearing in Maryland Code (1974, 1979 Cum. Supp.) § 12-502 (b), Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article, relative to a de novo appeal from an orphans' court to a circuit court does not mean a transcript of testimony. Hence, we shall affirm the judgment of the Court of Special Appeals in Lowenthal v. Rome...
