The defendant, City of Woodstock, appeals from an order entered by the McHenry County circuit court requiring it to pay one half of the medical and life insurance premiums for one of its employees. The plaintiff, William Jahn, had been receiving a disability pension of 50 percent of his salary and requested in this declaratory judgment action that the city be required to pay his insurance...
