Defendant Dallas E. Hunter appeals his conviction for attempted first degree escape. We affirm.

On September 16, 1979, defendant was being detained in the Cowlitz County jail while awaiting transfer back to a state penal institution. His transfer had been ordered as a result of a decision 10 days earlier to revoke his participation in a work release program for breaching the conditions of the program.
