On September 26, 1977, while in the course of employment, plaintiff and two co-workers were standing on the shoulder of a road between two parked motor vehicles. A third motor vehicle, negligently operated by Ken Boroff, Jr., went off the traveled portion of the pavement and struck one of the parked vehicles, pinning plaintiff between the two parked vehicles.
