HAYS, Justice.

The appellant, Ancil David Wilson, pled guilty to first degree murder and theft, a class 3 felony, pursuant to a plea agreement. In return, the state dismissed various charges including aggravated robbery with a gun, forgery, theft, and sexual conduct with a minor, and "agreed that the defendant shall receive a sentence of life imprisonment." The court imposed a life sentence for first degree murder and, in addition, imposed a consecutive 10-year sentence...
