Gilberto Gonzales appeals from a sentence imposed following acceptance of a plea of guilty to the crime of delivery of a controlled substance, namely, heroin. Pursuant to I.C. § 37-2732(a)(1)(A), the district court sentenced the appellant to the custody of the Idaho State Board of Corrections for an indeterminate period of time not to exceed eight years, less twenty-four days credit for time served prior to judgment.
