In this case, we confront the question of whether a circuit court has subject matter jurisdiction to entertain a third-party complaint against the State of Michigan. Principal plaintiff, Margaret Williams, filed a complaint in Wayne County Circuit Court against Detroit General Hospital and Dr. H.
