These companion appeals arise from the convictions of defendants Lawrence Goldstein, Richard Silberg and Frank Jones on ten counts of mail fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 1341, and four counts of making false statements in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 1001. In addition, defendants were convicted of one count of unauthorized distribution and possession of controlled substances in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a...
