On November 29, 1980, the defendants were arrested and charged with, among other things, a violation of subdivision 2 of section 240.20 of the Penal Law. This section states that:

"A person is guilty of disorderly conduct when, with intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creating a risk thereof: * * * "2. He makes unreasonable noise".
