In February 1980, appellant was convicted on two counts of violating Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(a)(6); 922(h)(1); and 924(a) (making false statements in order to purchase a firearm). In March 1980, appellant was convicted for violations of Title 18, United States Code, Section 641 (transferring United States Postal Service money orders known to be stolen).
