Floyd Stock owned a fleet of tractor-trailer units, one of which was destroyed in an accident on May 8, 1978. Following denial of his claim for collision loss, he instituted this suit against his insurance agent, Pierce Agency (Pierce); Pierce's broker and Stuyvesant's general agent, ADCO General Corporation (ADCO); and the insurer, Stuyvesant Insurance Company (Stuyvesant).
