The Florida Bar Board of Governors has petitioned this Court to approve a plan which will allow members of The Florida Bar to become "certified" as having special competence in the areas of taxation and civil trial advocacy. In September, 1979, we rejected the bar's initial plan but approved lawyer certification in concept.
