Appellant George Ball was convicted by a jury of three counts of threats, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2307,1 and four counts of obstructing justice, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-703(a).2 He was thereafter sentenced to concurrent three to twelve-year sentences for each count.
