Defendant Terry Edwards and one William McNabb were charged by bill of information with theft of $248,192.00 from a Purolator Security, Inc., armored truck in violation of R.S. 14:67. Represented by the same retained counsel, defendants were tried together and convicted. The trial court sentenced each defendant to seven years imprisonment at hard labor.
