The government appeals a decision to suppress evidence, which the trial court found had been obtained in violation of the Fourth Amendment. We affirm insofar as the ruling held statements made to police at headquarters, several hours after appellee had been transported there in a squad car, and the consent to search his cab given at that time, were the product of an unlawful detention; consequently, the statements and items found in the cab...
