On January 9, 1980, officers of the New Orleans Police Department obtained a search warrant authorizing the search of a residence located at 1821 Carondelet Street in New Orleans. On the face of the warrant, the typewritten address is partially crossed out ("Ave." is changed to "St.") and the phrase "Bottom, right door" is added. The record does not disclose if these potentially crucial amendations were casual...
