Judge Jordan has petitioned for a rehearing. Although we deny that petition, we believe that because of its contentions our previous opinion, Or. 622 P.2d 297 should be clarified on three points.

1. The conduct of a judge in talking to a witness.

The petition contends that it is not wrong for a judge to talk to a witness after "the conclusion of a judicial proceeding." We agree. That is not what...
