The original plaintiff, Derrell J. Hebert, brought an action for damages against the manufacturer of a valve. After his death, his widow and children were substituted for him as plaintiffs in that action, and a wrongful death suit was filed against the manufacturer by his widow individually and for his children. The cases were consolidated and tried before a jury and the plaintiffs appealed from the judgment in favor of the defendant manufacturer...
