In No. 80SA533, the People appealed the trial court's dismissal after preliminary hearing of a felony murder charge against the defendant, Walter Lee Williams.

In No. 81SA38, we issued a rule to the trial court to show cause in an original proceeding initiated by the People. Since both cases involve the same issues, we have consolidated them. On the appeal, we reverse the trial court's dismissal. This moots the issues in the original...
