MURRAY, Justice.

On May 7, 1979, the Attorney General filed a complaint in the Superior Court charging the defendants with operating an unauthorized lottery in violation of Art. XLI, sec. 1 of the Rhode Island Constitution. The complaint sought to enjoin the defendants' activities permanently and after a hearing of the Attorney General's allegations, such relief was granted by a Superior Court justice.
