Defendant David R. Singleton was charged by bill of information filed June 17, 1980 with resisting an officer in violation of La.R.S. 14:108. After a trial before a judge alone, defendant was found guilty. On the date set for sentencing defendant filed a motion for a new trial. The trial judge denied the motion and sentenced defendant to two months in jail and a fine of $100.00. Defendant appears before this Court...
