James and Earline Buckley (Plaintiffs) brought this action ex delicto on behalf of their minor child1, Joel Buckley, to recover damages for personal injuries he suffered in an accident involving a large tractor-trailer truck. Defendants are Gilbert L. Royer, the driver of the truck, and his employer, Exxon Corporation, the owner of the truck.
