The defendant, Curtis O. Crosby, was charged by bill of information with the crime of possession of marijuana in violation of La.R.S. 40:967(C). On the date set for trial the trial court heard and denied defendant's motion to suppress evidence, ordered that the evidence be admitted, denied defendant's motion for directed verdict of acquittal and found the accused guilty as charged.
