MARCUS, Justice.
Alfred Simpson was charged by bill of information with simple burglary in violation of La. R.S. 14:62. After trial by jury, defendant was found guilty of attempted simple burglary and sentenced to serve four years at hard labor. Although defendant designated nine years to be urged on appeal, he briefed and argued only Assignment of Error No. 1. Therefore, the remaining assignments of error are considered to have been abandoned.
