Appellants, the City of Lafayette and the City Council of the City of Lafayette appeal an adverse judgment of the district court in an action for declaratory and injunctive relief filed by James E. Hernandez, appellee, challenging the validity of the zoning ordinance of the City of Lafayette as it applied to land owned by Hernandez. The trial court rendered judgment in favor of Hernandez and directed the City of Lafayette to rezone plaintiff's property...
