William Glenn Welty was convicted of first-degree murder. After a jury recommendation of life imprisonment, the trial court imposed the death sentence. We find no reversible error in his conviction, but we reduce his sentence to life in accordance with the jury's recommendation because the facts suggesting a death sentence are not "so clear and convincing that virtually no reasonable person could differ."
