This appeal requires us to determine the applicability of the statute waiving sovereign immunity to cases involving nuisance.

Appellant sued the City of Tampa for damages caused by the operation of a sanitary landfill or garbage dump near their home. They alleged that after they bought their home, the city expanded the South Manhattan Landfill in the direction of their property and that, as a consequence, the foul odors permeating therefrom...
