Albert and Doris Stevens, appellees here, own two contiguous parcels of land in the village of Essex Junction, acquired at different times. Although irregular in shape, they form a rough L. One lot fronts, on the north, on East Street; the other, southerly of it, fronts on the east on Lamoille Street.
