The appellant, Alfred Charles Grady, is challenging his conviction in the United States District Court1 of attempting to pass and utter seven (7) falsely made and counterfeited Federal Reserve Notes with intent to defraud, all in violation of Title 18, United States Code, § 472. He was found guilty after a second jury trial on November 25, 1980,
