This action was brought by Janice M. Dorsten, an osteopathic physician duly licensed by the state of Michigan to practice her profession. In May of 1976, Dr. Dorsten, (hereinafter plaintiff) applied for staff privileges with Lapeer County General Hospital (hereinafter defendant hospital or hospital).
