OPINION

CONNOR, Justice.

In this appeal, appellant challenges a jury verdict and judgment finding it negligent in the collapse of a three-year-old Freuhauf flatbed trailer, and therefore liable to appellee for personal injuries arising therefrom.

The trailer involved, No. 080, is 40 feet long and has a carrying capacity of 70,000 pounds. It was manufactured in 1973 and was purchased new by Transport Maintenance and Leasing, a trailer leasing company...
