These three actions were brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., by plaintiffs, Madeline L. Cohen, Monica Sokolsky, and Jan S. Coward, who were employed as teachers by the defendant Community College of Philadelphia (CCP).
