This is an appeal from the granting of defendant's motion for summary judgment. We have jurisdiction pursuant to Rule 19(e), Rules of Civil Appellate Procedure, 17A A.R.S.

We must answer the following question on appeal: Does the parental immunity doctrine, as it presently exists in Arizona, bar a suit by a minor child against his parents for negligence in leaving a gate open through which the minor child drove his tricycle and was injured...
