On his way to an early-morning dental appointment plaintiff, Joseph Timmons, slipped on ice and fell, fracturing his left leg. When he fell he was walking along a path that had been shoveled by defendant, Ben Turski, his dentist. In the ensuant lawsuit a jury found in favor of plaintiff and against defendant, assessing damages in the amount of $20,000. The trial court denied defendant's motion...
