This cause came before the court after a bench trial held from August 11 through 22, 1980, in Florence, Alabama, and from September 29 through October 23, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama. The bench trial involved individual claims of plaintiffs Frank L. Eastland and Sanford L. Long, and the class action, which is the subject of this memorandum opinion.
