The appellants, Alton Spradlen and Joseph Reilly, were charged in a two-count indictment with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and with conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846.
