Rudolph Coleman brought suit against General Motors Corporation (GMC) and UAW Local 25 under Title VII and 42 U.S.C. § 1981, alleging racial discrimination. The district court,1 sitting without a jury, entered judgment in favor of both defendants and awarded Local 25 $5,000.00 in attorney's fees.
