The defendant was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and tuinal (G.L.c. 94C, § 32). Shortly after his arrest in a motel room in which more than 500 grams of cocaine and 1200 capsules of tuinal were found, the defendant stated to the police that all the drugs were his.
