The City of Houston appeals from a judgment rendered on jury findings awarding Mr. Willie Wormley $6,996.50 damages in his negligence suit against the City and its employee, Victor V. Swearington. Mr. Wormley sustained personal injuries when his vehicle was struck from the rear by a van owned by the City of Houston Public Library and driven by Swearington. The City contends in two points of error that the trial court erred 1) in overruling its motions...
