KOCORAS, District Judge:

The plaintiff, James R. Cantrell, filed this action to recover actual and punitive damages from American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. and from two of ABC's employees, Geraldo Rivera and Peter Lance. The complaint alleges that the plaintiff suffered injury to his reputation because of a nationally televised broadcast on February 7, 1980 of ABC's program entitled "Newsmagazine 20/20."
