Willow Road is a four-lane thoroughfare with two lanes heading east and two lanes west. Separating the traffic travelling in opposite directions, there is a concrete mountable median. On May 22, 1977, at 1 a.m. Muriel David (plaintiff) was driving westbound on Willow in the left hand lane. Plaintiff stopped in her lane to wait for oncoming traffic to pass so that she could negotiate...
