COUNTISS, Justice.

The offense is attempted burglary. The punishment, enhanced by two prior felony convictions, is life imprisonment. We affirm.

The State's evidence revealed that on March 23, 1979, three officers of the Lubbock police department responded to a signal from a silent burglar alarm and discovered appellant and a companion, Alcario Selestino, hiding in a dark area outside the building where the activated alarm was located.
