On May 27, 1980, Nisbet, an attorney, filed in Superior Court a complaint against his client, Bernard Faunce, and the Board of Overseers of the Bar. The first count of that complaint contained the following allegations: A dispute had arisen between Faunce and Nisbet concerning the amount of a legal fee.
