This is a products liability action for personal injuries sustained by Harry LaChance. The complaint was premised on theories of negligent design, strict tort liability and breach of warranty. LaChance was injured in 1975 while performing maintenance on a roller mill manufactured by defendant respondents and sold to LaChance's employer, Ralston Purina.
