Plaintiff Joy Manufacturing Company (JOY) delivered to defendant Nimet Industries, Inc. (NIMET) a certain quantity of aluminum compressor pistons which were to undergo an anodizing treatment process. On February 16, 1978 the pistons were destroyed in the fire at the NIMET plant. JOY brought this action against NIMET to recover the value of the parts lost in the fire.
